  • How long do you for your booking?
    Each pool booking is for a duration of 70 minutes. This is the total amount of time you get in the pool house, from the start of your booking to the exit. It includes changing time.
  • What depth is the pool?
    The pool is 1.2m at the shallow end, which is where the pool ladder is situated. There is a gradual decline to the deeper end which is 1.4 meters.
  • What temperature is the pool water?
    The pool is kept at 29.0 to 29.5 degree. The pool house is kept at 27 to 29 degrees.
  • What size is your pool?
    Our pool is 10 meters in length and 5 meters wide.
  • Are there changing rooms / showers?
    There are two changing rooms in the pool house and both have showers. There is also a separate toilet in the pool house.
  • Do you provide hairdryers?
    We don't provide hairdryers in the pool house. However you are welcome to bring your own and use the mirrors and sockets available in the changing area.
  • Are babies allowed in the pool?
    Yes babies are allowed. Swim nappies are a must and suitable swimwear is recommeneded such as a wet suit. We do not provide baby swimming floats but you are welcome to bring your own
  • Do you have baby changing facilities?
    No, we dont have a baby changing table or unit at the pool. We encourage our customers to bring a baby changing mat for their own use and there are two settees that can be used to change a baby on.
  • Where do I park?
    There is parking just outside the pool house for customers use.
  • How long before my booking should I arrive?
    You should arrive no more than 5 minutes before your booking. This enables time between each booking for adequate cleaning and also time for the last booking to get down the single concrete lane that leads to the pool house.
  • Is the pool house private?
    The pool house is for your use only during a booking. It is overlooked by fields on one side which offers privacy with views. The other windows overlook the car parking area and grounds of the pool owners. No one should enter the pool house during your booking unless it is a matter of H&S.
  • How do you get in and out of the pool?
    There is a four rung pool ladder for getting in and out of the pool. It is situated at the shallower end of the pool.
  • Do you do swimming lessons?
    Yes. Lessons are currently offered on a Wednesday with swim teacher, Kathy. She offers both adult, child or family lessons. The cost is £16 for a half hour adult lesson; children’s lessons are £14 for a 45 minute session per child. We hold a waiting list so if you are interested, let us know.
  • How can I check the pools availability?
    We have an inbuilt booking system on our web site for users to check out when the pool is available to hire. You can book online directly via our web site on a date and time to suit. If you prefer, you can give us a call on our telephone 07762480858 to book or send us a message via our FB page.
  • Can I book a regular slot?
    Yes, you can book a weekly or fortnightly swim slot. Contact us on 07762480858 to organise.
  • How long do you get in a booking?
    You get 70minutes in the pool house. This is from arrival to exit so includes changing time.
  • Can we bring our own floats?
    Yes you are welcome to bring your own floats. We do provide noodles and balls. At times there can be floats or rings available for use.
  • How many are allowed in the pool?
    The maximum number allowed in any booking is 6 swimmers.
  • Do you do pool parties?
    Unfortunately we don't. We hire the pool to private individual(s) / family hire for a maximum of 6 in the pool.
  • Is there a lifeguard?
    There is no lifeguard at Kerrs Road Pool. The person who made the booking has the full responsibility of ensuring the safety of all in the pool and pool house. There are items for safety in the building such as a body hook, a rescue bouy, non slips mats in the changing rooms and safety signs around the building.
  • Can we bring snacks / drinks into the pool house?
    If snacks or drinks are brought into the pool house, then we ask customers to ensure that NO glass is brought in. We ask for the pool house to be left as you found it and spillages/crumbs are tidied up.
  • Will there be inflatables?
    We keep a selection of noodles and balls at the pool for use by customers. At times we add inflatables for use as well. However, due to the lifespan of inflatables we do not recommend that you rely on them being provide by us . Customers are welcome to bring their own for use in the pool.
  • Can spectators come?
    Yes, we have two double settees for those who wish to come and spectate. There is no charge for spectators.
