Swimming Lessons
At Kerrs Road Pool we offer both adult and children's swimming lessons on a Wednesday. Our teacher is Kathy Gray, who is an experienced swim teacher and life guard with a big personality.

Swimming Lessons at Kerrs Road Pool
Adult swimming lessons cost £16 for a half hour lesson and we keep our classes to a group size of 2 or 3 max (1:1 lessons can be organised on request). They operate in 6 weekly cycles.

The children's swimming lessons are generally taught in family groups (keeping siblings together). The lessons cost £14 per child and last for 45 minutes. Again they are taught in small groups of 4/5 children and the duration of a set of lessons is 12 weeks. Kathy is in the water with the children during the lessons.

Also at Kerrs Road Pool we do family lessons where parents and their children learn together in a group.

Rosie, Bertie and Rebecca's story
We knew Kathy from previous group swimming lessons so were delighted when we found out that she taught at Kerr's Road Pool and that Rosie, Bertie and Rebecca could all swim together with her in one small group class. Kathy is a fantastic swimming teacher and we have all grown very fond of her, the children really look forward to their lesson every week. As Kathy is in the pool with them, she can demonstrate technique and correct their positions and strokes while they are swimming. They have all progressed quickly and their confidence has grown so much with her help.
The pool at Kerrs Road is great and the changing facilities are modern and spotless. Lynda is very welcoming and super at communicating term dates and information.
